The International Dance Teachers Association (I.D.T.A.) was founded in 1967 by the amalgamation of several dance societies.

It is a nonprofit making organization of teachers for whom it provides a comprehensive examination service. It is responsible for more examinations in dance then any other similar organization in the world.

Prima Stage School is proud to be a member of this organisation and holds its own I.D.T.A. Examinations several times a year.
